My name is Poul Green. I was born in 1943.
I graduated as a primary school teacher with biology as a major subject, but it was music that came to influence my life. I was a choirmaster for all the years at Sindal's school (30 years), and first and foremost taught guitar and singing. I was head of the Voluntary Music Education in Sindal municipality for 17 years.
From 1981 to 1997 I was the leader of the Nordjysk Børnekor (Children's Choir of Northern Jutland), which we toured with in large parts of the world. I have also been choir leader for the Greenlandic choir Sapangaq for two periods.
For many years I was a handball coach in Sindal IF and won the first official Danish championship for the club in 1992.
I am a trained gardener, have had a horticulture (free-range) and a gardening company.
Now is the time to look after my lovely garden and play golf and bridge.
I have been married twice. I have three children and 7 grandchildren with my first wife, Else. After my divorce, I met Dorrit (Dot), and we had 14 wonderful years together. It was with Dot that I bought Engbjerg. Unfortunately, Dot was killed in an accident here on the farm in 2018.
